The American Cancer Society has many resources that help support people with cancer and their loved ones. And best of all, their help is free. They can connect you with these resources, whether you are a cancer patient, caregiver of a person with cancer, community leader or volunteer, healthcare professional, or someone who wants to know about programs and services. They can also help you find other free or low-cost resources available in your area.

CAN Cancer is a local funding program that provides community assistance to help cover non-medical expenses for Harney County residents fighting any form of cancer.

Cancer support group is held the 4th Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. at the Harney District Hospital Board Conference Room.

Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC) is a group of national organizations that provide financial help to patients. CFAC provides a searchable database of financial resources.

The CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 2007 to address the needs of individuals who cannot afford their insurance co-payments to cover the cost of medications for treating cancer.

Good Days provides financial support for patients who cannot afford the treatment they urgently need.
